Meet Pamela Keys

“The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results.” – Albert Einstein
I am Pamela Keys, and this is one of my favorite quotes, which is applicable to my health and wellness journey.
Prior to joining the D21 community, I did a significant amount of research regarding healthy eating and exercise, but the motivation to take my wellness goals to the next level was amiss.
I knew I needed to address counterproductive eating patterns and change my exercise routine. I desired to participate in a wellness program but didn’t know where to turn. Eventually, a workout buddy and D21 member told me about D21 and the 6-Week Challenge. I was intrigued.
After attending their free one-week Tight & Toned Bootcamp class in late October, I still didn’t have the motivation. However, I was cognizant that the holidays were encroaching upon me and I wanted to get ahead of the holiday eating-polloza and weight gain. “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing….”
I emailed Deitrich for a 6- Week Challenge evaluation and had a positive experience. I started their three day a week bootcamp class in mid-December, used their comprehensive meal plan and began weekly meal prepping. Furthermore, I had helpful weekly check-ins with Jason, one of their Certified Personal Trainers and bootcamp instructors.

The inches and pounds began to drop. My mentality towards food continued to change as I reframed my thinking and began to see food as fuel. Not only that, I was having fun in bootcamp with like-minded folks. Yes, you read that accurately! Bootcamp was and remains to be fun, short, and sweet.
The cherry on top is that to date I have lost 18 pounds! Not through yo-yo dieting, but in a healthy, steady, and consistent manner since December.
My results were different because I decided to get off the insanity train, step out of my comfort zone, and push myself.
